Ghanaian teen sensation Abdul Fatawu Issahaku scored a sumptuous header to send the Black Meteors to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations for U23.

Sporting Lisbon CP forward, Issahaku got the only goal of the match to secure a place at the tournament for coach Ibrahim Tanko’s to Morocco.

The Ghana team stamped their authority on the game and controlled the game right from the blast of the referee’s whistle.

Issahaku struck the crossbar early in the game with a sweet left-footed after a sweet team work by the Ghana team with beautiful teamwork.

Ernest Nuamah had a great opportunity to put Ghana 1-0 up but missed the opportunity from very close range.

On the 10th minute of the match, Fatawu broke the deadlock following a solo run from Nuamah on the left side of attack to put the hosts 1-0 up early in the game.

Ghana controles the game very well with Afriyie Barnieh missing two glaring chances in the opening half of the frenetic encounter.

He missed two good opportunities in the second half of the match which made the fans angry at a certain point.

The game ended 1-0 which means Ghana has qualified for the 2023 CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Morocco in July.
