A senior lecturer at the Aketen Appiah-Menka University of skills Training ad Entrepreneural Development has thrown at Jab at the former GFA president in his quest to be a member of parliament.
Aaron Kumah, the senior lecturer described Mr Nyantakyi’s dream as tantamount to endorsing corruption which is deemed as one of the factors for under- development.
“he achieved a lot for Ghana during his tenure as GFA president, but there is a corruption tag against him.
“He was accused of being corrupt with supported evidence, leading to FIFA’s banishment. So, allowing Nyantakyi to contest the election…and if Ejisu residents vote for him, would imply that we don’t care about corruption. It is a critical issue, and I am surprised by his decision to seek public office without clearing his name first,” the senior lecturer on Oyerepa.
“He needs to first redeem himself from the court of the corruption tag” he further stated.
Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi has been tipped to win the vacant Ejisu seat after the painful death of John Kumah which is slated for 13th April 2024.
