The 14th edition of the biennial Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), featured 12 teams for the second time. This marked the 2nd departure from the traditional 8-team format which the 2022 edition was the first year to see the expansion to 12 teams
Morocco (Hosts) Algeria, Botswana, DR Congo, Ghana, Mali, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia and Zambia
Ghana, who will taking their 13th participation in the 14th edition of the Women’s Africa of Nation is set to face South Africa, Mali and Tanzania after beating Rwanda in a 12-0 aggregate in the qualifiers.
