Senegal’s undisputed number-one goalkeeper Edouard Mendy is super excited about Senegal’s display in the ongoing AFCON.
In Group C, the Lions of Teranga have outplayed, outscored and outclassed all the opponents by winning by a 2-goal margin in every game.
Speaking after the 2-0 win over Guinea, the goalkeeper expressed his delight.
“We had a good game tonight. Our second half was better”, said Mendy. Senegal has been excellent in their second half as they finish their opponents mostly in the second half.
“We are happy to win all the games so far and progress, ” — Mendy continued.
Senegal has been tipped by many pundits to defend their title.
