Captain of reigning Ghana premier league champions Wa All Stars, Hafiz Adams says they are battle ready to defend the title they won last season.
The Northern Blues will open their campaign against debutants Elmina Sharks but will have to wait another week because of maiden appearance in the CAF Champions League.
Adams who guided Wa All Stars to win their first ever domestic title is confident of retaining the title for the second time running.
“We have trained enough and the preparation is quite okay so anytime we are called upon that the league has started, we are ready. We have nothing to complain about.”
“The league is about to start and much is expected of us so moving into the new season, we are ready as a club for it,” he added.
