Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara is already focused on the upcoming Super Clash against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko, set for December 15, 2024, following his team’s 4-0 victory over Immigration FC in the MTN FA Cup.
While celebrating the FA Cup win, Ouattara stressed the importance of staying focused on the next challenge, emphasizing that preparations for the high-stakes encounter against Kotoko are paramount.
“We can’t celebrate too much because we need to focus on the next match [Asante Kotoko],” Ouattara stated.
Acknowledging the significance of the fixture for both teams, Ouattara pointed out that the stakes are high for both sides.
“Kotoko needs the win, and we also need the win. Let’s wait until December 15 to see what happens because that game is all about the three points,” he added.
The Hearts coach made it clear that his team’s priority is securing all three points against Kotoko. “We are going for the three points; if we don’t get it, we will take a point,” he declared.
With Hearts of Oak currently in 6th place with 19 points and Asante Kotoko close behind in 7th with 18 points, the Super Clash promises to be an exciting and crucial match for both teams.
