Ghana premier league legend, Charles Taylor is strongly of the view that Salifu Ibrahim and Richmond Lamptey should be part of the Black Stars Squad.
Salifu Ibrahim and Richard Lamptey who play respectively for Accra Hearts of Oak and Kotoko have shown exceptional form this season in the on-going premier league.
The duo was in action over the weekend in round 14 of the Super Clash at the Baba Yara stadium, the dexterity and level of confidence exhibited by the two players was nothing short of applause.
EX-Player of Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak believe their fine should attract a call-up in to the senior national team.
“If we don’t see these two (Salifu and Lamptey) In the Black Stars squad, then we need to question Chris Hughton, the two players have shown talent and quality and deserve a place in our national team” said on Angel Tv
Salifu Ibrahim signed to Accra Hearts of Oak from Techiman Eleven Wonder in February 2021 and immediately helped the Phobians to annex the Premier tittle after a decade. Richmond Lamptey also signed for the Porcupine Warrior at the start of the 2021/2022 season from Inter Allies.
Black Stars coach, Chris Hughton is under huge pressure as he prepares to name this squad for the upcoming Nations Cup in Ivory Coast month.
