Leicester City forward Abdul Fatawu remains resilient after the team’s 1-1 draw against Sheffield Wednesday, expressing disappointment at conceding a late goal.
Fatawu who was on target against Sheffield Wednesday emphasized the need to learn from the experience ahead of this weekend’s clash against West Brom.
“I don’t like conceding these kind of goals,” he commented. “It’s painful but it’s a game. We’ll take it and we’ll learn. We’re unlucky. I thought [Jannik Vestergaard’s late chance] would be a goal, but it didn’t go in.”
Looking forward, Fatawu is determined to bounce back, stating, “We’re going to go back in and prepare for Saturday and come back stronger and go for the win.”
Leicester City is set to face West Bromwich Albion on Saturday in the Skybet Championship, and Fatawu is optimistic about the team’s ability to return to winning ways.
