Legon Cities assistant coach, Saeed Adnan, is set on capitalizing on Asante Kotoko’s weaknesses as his team seeks a crucial win in their midweek showdown.
The Royals have endured a tough start to the Ghana Premier League season, sitting at the bottom of the table with only two points from seven games. However, Adnan is confident that they can turn things around as they prepare to face Kotoko in a rescheduled week six fixture at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium on Wednesday night.
“We’ve rectified a lot of the problems that we encountered,” Adnan explained in a pre-match interview with Legon Cities media. “By rectifying them, we conducted some of our training sessions based on the deficiencies that we’ve observed in our games.”
Adnan emphasized that his team has prepared specifically to exploit Kotoko’s weaknesses. “Going into the Kotoko game, we knew the problems that we’ve solved, and we are going to work against Kotoko’s deficiencies and weaknesses,” he stated. “We have identified our strengths, and we are going to capitalize on the weaknesses of Kumasi Asante Kotoko to secure the maximum three points.”
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko will be aiming for a spot at the top of the league table if they can secure a victory in this 7 p.m. clash.
