Aduana Stars striker Derrick Sassraku has advised organizers of the Ghana Premier League, Professional League Board [PLB] to hand the ongoing premier league trophy to the ‘Ogya’ lads in advance.
According to him, the 2009 champions will be on top of the league log till the closure of the 2016/2017 season hence his call for PLB to declare Aduana Stars advance winners of the league.
Derrick’s late header last Saturday ensured the Dormaa based club picked an important away three points when they beat Inter Allies 2-1 at the El Wak Park.
Speaking on Kumasi based Abusua FM, he said” Grace and hardworking is the secret behind my performance this season and I am double work to ensure my dream of winning the top scorer award is achieved at the end of the season”
He added ”Is would be very difficult for the trophy to elude us this season because we won’t give any club the chance to leapfrog us on the league table.”
Aduana Stars host Medeama SC in their match day 7 midweek fixture on Wednesday at the Agyemang Badu Park.
