Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC striker Franck Thierry Mbella Etouga says winning the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League title is his main objective as a player for the club.
He said the team is focused on winning the league title after finishing second last season and losing the trophy to arch rivals, Accra Hearts of Oak SC.
According to him, winning the goal king award at the end of the season is a bonus as his full focus is on helping the team to win the league title.
Nonetheless, the Cameroonian attacker believes he will score more goals in subsequent games because his team mates will help him.
“We are focused on winning the league and that is my objective”, he said after scoring the match winner against WAFA SC on Saturday.
“Goal king is bonus. I believe I will score more goals with help of my colleagues. Mbella Etouga Franck”, he added.
