Saturday night in Nassau in Bahamas at the Thomas A. Robinson Track & Field Stadium was disastrous for Ghana in Heat 1 in the 4X100 Metres Relay in the qualifiers for the Paris Olympics Games.

Isaac Botsio amd Benjin Azamati couldn’t exchange the baton perfectly and it unfortunately dropped leading to Ghana’s disqualification. The USA and Italy won the two slots in the heat and subsequently booked their tickets to Paris 2024.

On Sunday night in Bahamas, Ghana goes again in Heat 2. Ghana will run alongside Nigeria, The Netherlands, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Thailand and Dominican Republic. The best two will secure a place in the Paris 2024 Olympics Games.

It is scheduled to take place at 12: 06 am in Ghana.

The quartet of Ibrahim Fuseni, Isaac Botsio, Benjamin Azamati and Joe Paul are expected to put aside the Saturday night disappointment and fire Ghana to the 2024 Paris Olympics Games.
