Ghanaian international Nana Poku who plies his football trade for Egyptian side Misr El-Maqassa is set to join United Arab Emirates club Al-Shaab in the January transfer window, Kingfut has reported.
The Egyptian premier League top scorer Nana Poku is set to depart the league after two and a half years in Egypt heading to the Gulf.
The website adds Maqassa have accepted a lucrative bid from Al-Shaab for the striker’s services.
Except for Hossam Paulo, no other player in Egypt has scored more goals over the past two seasons and a half in the league than the Ghanaian, who managed to net an impressive 34 goals in 81 league matches with Maqassa and formerly Ittihad El-Shorta.
The 23-year-old who has 9 goals to his name this season, leading the goalscoring charts along with his teammate Ahmed El-Sheikh, is set to join the Emirati club who ply the trade in the second division.
