Recent history of rained off matches the involves Asante Kotoko means they enter the replay of  Monday’s President Cup match with so much confidence to carry the day against sworn rivals Accra Hearts of Oak thansk to their recent perfect record in rained off matches.
Below are the recent rained off games that involved the Porcupine Warriors and final results of the replayed games.

What happened the next day when the game was replayed? Well, the replay was on Thursday 26 June 2008 and at the end of the 90 minutes it was All Stars 0 Kotoko 2 and it was huge center forward Kwabena Yaro – who was a kind of  fan favorite due to his massive size and how he bullied defenders – who netted the two goals.

For Hearts of Oak, I do not recall the last time the club was involved in a rained off game in recent times and for that matter this comparison is not complete since record of events of rained off games involving Hearts of Oak is not readily available as at the time I write this story.
