Comoros Island national team head coach Amir Abdou has hinted on his side training itinerary ahead of the AFCON.
The Islanders who will be making their maiden appearance in the competition will leave for a training camp in Saudi Arabia on December 25th and their coach has revealed their schedules.
“There will be two friendlies. I think he will have a match on December 31 and another on January 4, 2022 abroad and leave on the 5th for Yaoundé.” He told Africanfootballunited.
“Our first match will be on January 10, 2022 in Yaoundé against Gabon. The two friendly games will prepare us, I think that’s enough to be ready “
” We have our opponents for the friendly games, nothing to confirm. They are teams who will participate in the CAN in January (2022). ” He added.
Comoros becomes the second Island from the Indian ocean to make it to the AFCON after Madagascar in 2019.
