2021 AFCON: Femi Oredola promises Super Eagles $250,000

Nigerian billionaire, Femi Otedola has pledged to hand out $250,000 to Nigerian national football team should they bring home the African Cup of Nations’ trophy from Cameroom.

The business man is highly impressed with the output of the Super Eagles and he has promised to reward them handsomely if they are able to lift the converted trophy.

Other top business gurus who have also promised to reward the Super Eagles include the bankroller of Air Peace, Mr Allen Onyema who is ready to offer N50 million naira to the team if bring home the trophy.

Nigeria previously won the title in 1980, 1994 and 2013. Currently, they are the firm favorites to win the trophy following their impressive display which saw them being the only team to amass nine points in the Group stage.

The Super Eagles will lock horns with Cape Verde in the last 16 of the tournament on Tuesday, 25th January.
