Sheriff Tiraspol duo, Salifu Mudasiru and Patrick Kpozo, have been named in the Black Stars provisional squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The squad which was announced on Friday afternoon sees the inclusion of the two players who have played actively for the Moldovian club in the 2022/23 season.
Kpozo has been a regular for Sheriff in the last two seasons while Mudasiru joined the club on loan prior to the start of the season and has been a core member.
There is also a place for teammate Edmund Addo, who rejoined the club recently after recovering from an injury.
Addo had been expected to seal a move to Red Star Belgrade but the transfer didn’t materialise.
