Asante Kotoko forward Samuel Boateng has signed for betPawa Premier League newcomers Samartex in a short-term deal.
Boateng joins the Timber giants on loan as confirmed by the Porcupine Warriors on their social media handle on Wednesday, January 25, 2023.
The Kumasi-based team announced Samuel Boateng will play for Samartex FC for the remainder of the 2022–2023 football season in a brief tweet.
The team also wishes the attacking player the very best while on loan at the rival Ghana Premier League team.
“Our forward, Samuel Boateng joins premier side Samartex FC on loan until the end of the 2022/23 season. We wish Boateng the best on loan,” Kotoko announced in a statement.
Samartex are hoping the addition of Boateng will add more firepower to their frontline in the remainder of the season.
