The 22-year-old started for his team in the Round 8 encounter of the 2023 campaign.
Despite his impressive performance, his efforts couldn’t prevent his side from suffering a defeat.
Isaac Atanga scored a goal in the 39th minute of the second half when Aalesund was trailing 2-0 against Sarpsborg.
With his goal in this match, Isaac Atanga has now scored three goals in eight appearances in the 2023 Norwegian Eliteserien.

In today’s game, Ghanaian teenager Christopher Baah equalized with a splendid strike in the 19th minute to give the hosts the lead.
Later, in the 36th minute, Joachim Soltvedt also found the back of the net, doubling the lead for Sarpsborg.
A second-half goal from Bjorn Utvik in the 68th minute sealed a 3-1 victory for Sarpsborg at the end of the 90 minutes.
