Ghanaian midfielder Michael Baidoo has drawn interest from several European clubs following his impressive performances for Swedish side IF Elfsborg.
Sportsworldghana.com understands that Leicester City, Villarreal, and Club Brugge are closely monitoring Baidoo. The versatile midfielder was instrumental in nearly guiding his club to their first league title in the 2023 season, narrowly missing out to Malmo on the final day.
During the 2023 campaign, the 24-year-old contributed 11 goals, scoring five times and providing six assists. In the 2024 season, Baidoo has already notched two goals and one assist in seven games, with Elfsborg currently sitting 11th on the table.
Baidoo is expected to make a summer switch, with multiple clubs showing interest. In addition to the three mentioned, teams in the Championship are also vying for his signature.
Baidoo joined Elfsborg in January 2022 from Sandnes IF and has previously played for Jerv and Midtjylland. He recently signed a contract extension with Elfsborg, keeping him at the club until 2027.
