Ghana striker Brandon Thomas-Asante maintained his brilliant form in front of goal on Tuesday night when he bagged a brace to lead Coventry City to a 2-1 victory against Portsmouth in the English EFL Championship.
The Black Stars attacker has been a sensation for his side since the 2025/26 football season commenced.
Massively trusted by head coach Frank Lampard, Brandon Thomas-Asante was handed another starting role today when Coventry played away to Portsmouth for their Round 11 clash of the Championship season.
In the game played at Fratton Park, the Ghanaian was the hero for the visitors, scoring in each half to secure all three points for his side.
Thomas-Asante grabbed his first of the night in the 30th minute when he was set up by Ellis Simms.
Later in the 56th minute, Brandon Thomas-Asante was set up by Simms again and scored to complete his brace.
Although Portsmouth netted through Makenzie Kirk in injury time, it only served as a consolation, as Coventry City ran away with all three points courtesy of the 2-1 win.
With his two goals today, Brandon Thomas-Asante has eight goals after making 11 appearances for his team in the Championship.
