The Ghana Football Association has sent an official invitation to Hearts of Oak for Solomon Agbasi to join Otto Addo’s squad for two high-profile international friendlies scheduled in March as part of Ghana’s preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Black Stars are set to face Austria on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium and Germany on Monday, March 30, 2026, in Stuttgart.

The goalkeeper demonstrated strong command of his area, sharp reflexes, and composure , recording key saves and maintaining defensive organisation during a crucial period for the Phobians.

His consistency between the posts has evidently caught the attention of the national team technical handlers.

The call-up offers Agbasi the opportunity to compete for a place in the Black Stars squad as Ghana fine-tune preparations in the March international window ahead of the 2026 FIFA world cup in U.S.A, Mexico and Canada.
