Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC have completed the signing of former Accra Lions attacker Dominic Amponsah on a three-year contract ahead of the 2026/27 football season.
The 20-year-old joins the Tarkwa-based club from Georgian side FC Dila Gori, becoming the Mauve and Yellow’s third acquisition of the current transfer window.
Amponsah rose to prominence during his time with Accra Lions, where he established himself as one of the country’s promising young attacking talents before making a move to Europe.
His addition is expected to give Medeama more depth and creativity in the final third as the club prepares for a demanding campaign featuring both domestic competitions and the CAF Champions League.
The young forward follows the arrivals of Sudan international goalkeeper Monged Abuzaid Salman and midfielder Emmanuel Boateng as Medeama continue their squad rebuild ahead of the new season.
The Ghanaian champions remain active in the transfer market as they seek to assemble a strong squad capable of competing for major honours at home and making an impact on the continental stage.
