FC Samartex 1996 have confirmed the appointment of Nana Kweku Agyemang as their new head coach ahead of the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League campaign.
The former Vision FC manager replaces Christopher Ennin, who departed the club following the end of the 2025/26 season.
Agyemang arrives after an impressive spell with Vision FC, where he earned widespread praise for steering the club away from relegation and securing their Premier League status through a disciplined and tactically astute campaign.
The Timber Giants will now look to the highly-rated coach to lead the club back into contention for domestic honours after winning the Ghana Premier League title in 2023/24.
Renowned for his emphasis on tactical organisation, discipline and player development, Agyemang is expected to oversee Samartex’s pre-season preparations as the club gears up for the new campaign, which begins in September.
