Hull City have officially confirmed an agreement to sign Ilyas Ansah from Union Berlin, bringing an end to negotiations over one of the club’s biggest moves of the window.
The 21-year-old forward is set to make the move to Hull City as part of a package understood to be worth more than €20 million, making the transfer a significant statement of intent from the Tigers. The overall package has now been agreed between the clubs, with the deal moving forward to completion.
Ansah was pictured alongside his representatives Hasan Cetinkaya and Sahr Senesie of HCM, who played a key role in facilitating the move and getting the agreement over the line.
The highly-rated young attacker arrives with plenty of potential and is expected to add pace, power, attacking versatility and goalscoring ability to Hull City’s frontline. At just 21, Ansah represents both an immediate attacking option and a long-term investment for the club.
