Ghanaian forward Mohammed Fuseini is set to join English Championship side Derby County on loan from Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise, with an option to make the move permanent.
The 24-year-old attacker has completed his medical ahead of the transfer after Derby moved quickly to secure his services following the collapse of his proposed loan switch to Birmingham City.
Fuseini had travelled to England earlier to finalise a move to Birmingham, but the deal broke down, forcing the forward and Union Saint-Gilloise to explore alternative options before the transfer deadline.
Derby County have now won the race for the Ghana international, who is expected to add pace, versatility and attacking depth to their squad.
The move provides Fuseini with another opportunity to gain regular first-team football and continue his development after making an impression in Belgian football with Union Saint-Gilloise.
