Ghanaian winger Christopher Bonsu Baah found the back of the net as Al Qadsiah produced a dominant performance to defeat Al Kholood 5-0 in the Saudi Pro League on Friday.
The Black Stars player scored the second goal of the encounter in the 13th minute, helping his side establish an early advantage in the Week Eight fixture of the 2026/27 season.
Al Qadsiah got off to a flying start when Tijani Reijnders opened the scoring in the fourth minute, finishing off a pass from Mateo Retegui to put the visitors ahead.
Bonsu Baah extended the lead nine minutes later after connecting with a low delivery from Julian Quinones. The Ghanaian winger struck from close range to make it 2-0 and put Al Qadsiah firmly in control of the match.
The visitors maintained their attacking intensity and added a third goal in the 40th minute through Al Juwayr, giving them a comfortable 3-0 lead at the break.
Al Kholood attempted to respond after the restart and were handed an opportunity to reduce the deficit when they won a penalty in the 64th minute. However, Iker Kortajarena failed to convert from the spot, allowing Al Qadsiah to maintain their three-goal advantage.
The missed penalty proved costly as Al Qadsiah struck again just three minutes later. Retegui got on the scoresheet in the 67th minute to increase the visitors’ lead to four goals.
Julian Quinones completed the emphatic victory in the 86th minute, converting a Panenka-style penalty to seal a convincing 5-0 win for Al Qadsiah.
Bonsu Baah delivered an impressive performance throughout the contest and remained on the pitch for the entire 90 minutes. His goal and overall contribution earned him a player rating of 9.0, placing him second among the highest-rated performers in the match.
The result underlined Al Qadsiah’s attacking strength, with the team scoring five times while keeping a clean sheet against Al Kholood.
For Bonsu Baah, the goal represents another valuable contribution to his club’s campaign as he continues to build his reputation in Saudi Arabia.
