Premier League side Everton have reportedly identified Ghana-eligible striker Kelvin Yeboah as a potential transfer target as they look to strengthen their attacking options.
The 26-year-old, who currently plays for Major League Soccer outfit Minnesota United, has emerged on Everton’s shortlist, with reports suggesting the Toffees are considering a move for the centre-forward.
Yeboah, whose market value is estimated at around €7 million, has built a reputation as a physical and hardworking striker capable of leading the line. His performances in MLS have reportedly attracted interest from England, where Everton are assessing attacking reinforcements.
Any move, however, would require negotiations with Minnesota United, as the forward remains under contract until December 31, 2027. The long-term deal places the MLS club in a strong bargaining position should Everton decide to formalise their interest.
A switch to Goodison Park would represent a significant step in Yeboah’s career, offering him the opportunity to test himself in the Premier League after spells across Europe and the United States.
Born in Italy to Ghanaian parents, Yeboah is eligible to represent both Italy and Ghana at international level. His name has previously been linked with the Black Stars, although he is yet to establish himself in Ghana’s senior national team.
For now, the reported Everton interest remains at an early stage, with no official offer or agreement between the two clubs. Nevertheless, the speculation could gather pace as the transfer window approaches, with the Premier League club continuing to monitor the striker’s situation in Minnesota.
