Stade de Reims defender Abdul Baba Rahman is back to the national team ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations after two-year absence.
The left-back has been in imperious form since joining the French Ligue 1 side on a six-months loan deal from his parent club Chelsea.
He is returning to the squad since suffering an injury whiles playing for the nation at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
Coack Kwasi Appiah named him in his 29-man provisional squad announced by coach Kwesi Appiah on Wednesday.
He is expected to play an instrumental role for team in their quest to end a 37-year trophy drought.
Ghana have been drawn in Group F alongside Guinea-Bissau, Benin and defending champions Cameroon.
