Ghana Premier League giant Accra Hearts of Oak board members have reported declined striker Joseph Esso a second spell at the club.
Information reaching SPORTSworldGhana can confirm that, the Black Stars B poster boy have been denied a chance to play for the Rainbow Boys again after he refused to extend his stay with the club.
Esso left the Phobians this summer transfer window after all attempts to renew his contract proved futile due to the differences in valuation of signing on fee.
After the club announced his departure, a section of the supporters of the club took it upon themselves to meet with the player to thrash out the issues preventing him from putting pen to paper to sign a new deal.
It was widely reported that, chairman of the club, Tobge Afedi then decided to speak to the board members to make sure of the return of once the darling boy of the team.
According to our sources, the board members unanimously agreed that they were not willing to work with the player again due to what they termed as ‘disrespecting act’ from the player shown to them in the process of the negotiations which couldn’t materialised.
The striker is now free to play for any club of his choice in the coming season after ending his ties with the 2000 CAF Champions League winners.
