Former Black Stars midfield anchor, Anthony Annan was in action for FC Inter Turku in the Finnish top-flight on Wednesday.
The Ghana International started the game on a brighter note but started fading away as the game went on in the second 45 minutes.
After a firing start from the visitors, Taiki Tagayama from Japan gave the visitors the lead on the sixth minutes of the match.
After 22 minutes of action, Joonas Lepisto drew the host level to make it 1 – 1 before Emmanuel Jorge Ledesma struck five minutes later to make it 2-1 to the home team before the interval.
On the 67th minutes of the game, Ghana’s Jude Ekow Arthur provided a deft touch to set up Lepisto to score his brace in the game and his side’s third goal to bring the score to 3-1.
The 34-year-old midfielder, saw 73 minutes of the match and was replaced by Matias Ojala when his side went 3-1 down.
Two minutes to full time, Rick Ketting reduced the deficit to one as the game ended in a grand style finish with the host securing a hard earned 3 – 2 win at home.
Anann has played 11 times in the Finnish top-flight this season for Inter Turku who occupy the third spot on the league table after week 14.
