The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt E.S. Okraku has sent his good luck wishes to the Miners as they begin their African campaign this weekend.
AshantiGold SC will face Burkina Faso side Salitas FC this weekend in the first of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary stage of qualifiers at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium on Sunday.

Coach Milovan Cirkovic’s side came from behind twice to draw 2-2 against Accra Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League matchday 2 clash on Tuesday night and will be hoping to beat Salitas convincingly on Sunday in Obuasi to make the return leg in Burkina-Faso a mere formality.
