Former Asante Kotoko and Kano Pillars coach Abdul Malik Jabir has urged Kotoko to try Ibrahim Tanko as head coach after Maxwell Konadu’s exit.
“Kotoko have already tasted Akwasi Appiah but haven’t tried Tanko. Kotoko should bring and try him (Tanko) because he is a seasoned coach” Jabir told OTEC FM
“Akwasi Appiah has been to Kotoko before and they know what he can do but they don’t know what Ibrahim Tanko is capable of. Let make use of the young coaches” He added
Maxwell Konadu was sacked by the Porcupine Warriors after their narrow defeat at home to ‘Wonder’ club, Accra Great Olympics.
After the sack of the former Local Black Stars coach, Johnson Smith have been given a chance to take charge of the team in their immediate upcoming fixtures while the club continue with its search for a new substantive manager.
