Ghanaian striker Caleb Ekuban is excited following his late winner for Trabzonspor against Fatih Karagumruk in the Turkish Superlig on Sunday night.
The versatile forward led the attack of the “Black Sea Storm” and netted the match winner in the 81st minute after Jure Balkovec had canceled Anthony Nwakaeme’s first half strike.
Ekuban who has suffered series of injuries in recent times was pleased with his goal and thanked his ream mates for their support.
“Especially when you watch your teammates when you are not playing, you spend more energy than them. I tried to reflect those feelings on the pitch today. Although my first goal was canceled, I am happy that I scored again later.” Ekuban emphasized after the game.
“My joy of goals was a move I made to entertain my teammates. The source of my energy is my teammates. I’m glad I was able to bring the victory by scoring a goal.”
The gangling attacker has netted four goals in ten Superliga games so far this season.
