Lithuanian top Division side FK Panevėžys have completed the signing of Dutch-born Ghanaian striker Jeffrey Nana Darko Sarpong, SPORTSworldGhana.com can confirm.
Sarpong, 32, was once known as a ‘great talent’ at Ajax.
The pacy attacker switched camp to Spanish side Real Sociedad in 2010 but was later loaned to Hercules Alicante and NAC Breda.
In 2015 he moved to New Zealand to sign for Wellington Phoenix FC where he spent two season there.
The journeyman later traveled to Greece to join Veria, Xanthi and Elazigspor later in Turkey.
Sarpong who had been without a club since 2019 has finally been signed by Portuguese manager Joao Luis Martins FK Panevėžys to strengthen his squad,
