German Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkrusen has parted ways with teenager Kingsley Sarpei after three years together.
Sarpei, 18, joined Leverkrusen from VFB Hilden in the summer of 2018 and progressed from the Under 15 up to the Under 19.
The talented striker suffered an injury last season and he is yet to back but Leverkrusen have told him they will not extend his contract.
Sarpei is the nephew of former Ghana international Hans Adu Sarpei.
