Asec Mimosas’ goal machine Amed Toure has been included in Burkina-Faso’s 24-man squad for the fifth round of the 2019 Cup of Nations qualifying campaign clash against Angola.
The coach has also named Accra Hearts of Oak’s Aboubacar Traoré in his 12-man stand by list.
The former Asante Kotoko and Bechem United marksman has been rewarded a call-up by Coach Paulo Duarte following his sparkling performance with the Ivorian giants.
Angola will host the Stallions of Burkina Faso in Luanda on
18 November, 2018.
A defeat would seriously jeopardize the qualifying chances of Burkina Faso, who are second in the group with 7 points, two points behind leaders Mauritania and 1 point above third side Angola.
Paulo Duarte however, did not make any huge surprises, except the absence of Bryan Dabo and the return of Adama Guira who has been brilliant with Arhus in Denmark since the beginning of the season.
Still without a club, Préjuce Nakoulma failed to make the cut together with Banou Diawara who picked in last month match against Botswana.
