Berekum Chelsea clashed with regional rivals Aduana Stars at the Berekum Golden City Park for week six of the Ghana Premier League round of matches.
Chelsea started the game on a blistering pace and should have made it count for their early pressure but missed the half goal-scoring opportunities that came their way.
On the 26th of the match, Chelsea’s captain, Stephen Amankona’s shot from the inside of the goal area which was going wide was unfortunately but beautifully connected by Isaac Kwain who scored an own goal to put the hosts 1-0 up.
After the break, Aduana were awarded a free on the left side of attack and the cross into the box found Bright Adjei who’s deflected header ended at the back of the net to level matters for the visitors on the 53rd minutes.
The Bono Derby ended in a 1 – 1 stalemate as both teams settled for a point each.
