Bofoakwa Tano head coach, John Eduafo, commended his team’s performance following their draw against Hearts of Oak in a Ghana Premier League match week 20 clash.

Bofoakwa Tano managed to secure a 1-1 draw against Hearts of Oak at the WAFA Park in Sogakope, with Emmanuel Agyenim Boateng scoring the equalizer in the second half.

Speaking after the game, Eduafo, a former assistant coach at Asante Kotoko, expressed satisfaction with his team’s display.

“We had it, we defended well, we kept the ball and we played the way we wanted to play. Even though they scored first, we didn’t panic under pressure,” he told StarTimes.

The draw halted Hearts of Oak’s two-game winning streak under new head coach Aboubakar Ouattara, leaving them in 8th place in the league standings.

On the other hand, the result did little to improve Bofoakwa Tano’s position in their relegation battle, as they remain second from bottom on the league log.
