Former Head of Administration and legal affairs of Asante Kotoko Sarfo Duku says the Executive Chairman for the club, Dr Kwame Kyei runs a total ‘one man show’.
The ace lawyer’s comment comes after the club was asked by the GHANA FA to pay huge compensation to former coach CK Akonno for unlawful dismissal.
”The Appeals Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has upheld the decision of the Player Status Committee with respect to the contractual dispute between Coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor and Asante Kotoko SC,” a portion of the FA’s publication stated.
”It would be recalled that the Player Status Committee found Asante Kotoko guilty of breaches in the contract with Akonnor and asked the club to pay him compensation.
”The ruling of the Appeals Committee has been communicated to both parties,” it added.
Speaking in an interview with Kessben FM, Sarfo Duku, averred that the Executive chairman of Asante Kotoko doesn’t heed to the advise of other management members of the club.
According to him, the bankroller of the club failed to listen to his advice prior to the termination of CK Akonnor’s contract.
He further disclosed that the Chairman’s disrespect to Management decision was one of the reasons why he resigned from his post.
Sarfo Duku, finally asked the supporters to stop blaming the management of the club since they have least say in the day to day administration of the Asante Kotoko.
