Dreams FC head coach Abdul Karim Zito remains optimistic about his team’s chances of survival in the Ghana Premier League, despite a challenging start to the season.
The “Still Believe” lads have had a tough time finding their form in the ongoing campaign, with just one win, five draws, and four losses from their first ten matches. They had to wait until matchday 10 to secure their first victory, a 1-0 triumph over Medeama at the Tuba Astro Turf last Saturday.
Currently sitting at the bottom of the league standings, Dreams FC need to step up their performances if they are to avoid relegation and maintain their Premier League status.
In a recent media interview, Zito expressed confidence that the team would turn things around, insisting they would not be relegated this season.
“We are a young team, and I’m sure we will bounce back. Insha Allah, we will not be relegated at the end of the season,” he said.
Dreams FC will face debutants Vision FC next, in an away fixture at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Complex on matchday 11 of the Ghana Premier League.
