Former Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah has released a teaser of his upcoming football academy project following his retirement from professional football.
Back in April this year, there was a report of a partnership between Asamoah and football agent Oliver Arthu to build a mini-stadium and also open an academy to nurture talented kids.
The report suggested Asamoah will use the academy to kickstart his next career as a football agent, having announced his retirement last year.
Two months after the reports, the ex-Juventus midfielder provided a gist of the project with young footballers training on a pitch as he watched on.
He shared a post on Twitter.
Asamoah began his career at Sefwi-based Kaaseman FC before moving on to Ghana Premier League club Liberty Professionals.
He went on to have loan spells at Swiss clubs Bellinzona and Torino before joining Udinese on a permanent basis in the summer of 2008.
Before to Inter Milan, the Ghanaian played for Juventus, where he helped the Bianconeri win multiple trophies, including six league titles.
Asamoah retired as the African footballer with the most top-flight appearances in Italy, as well as Ghana’s most successful player in the country.
