RSC Anderlecht in the Belgium Jupiler Pro League has put Ghanaian striker Dauda Mohammed on the transfer list, Sportsworldghana.com can exclusively confirm.

The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC striker Dauda Mohammed has been declared as a surplus to requirement player at the club and aims at getting rid of him in the summer.

Dauda has been playing on loan after joining the Red and Mauves in 2016 as he’s yet to cement a place in the team since he joined.

Before the start of this season, Dauda was sent on loan to Spanish La Liga 2 side FC Cartagena.

At the Spanish second division, they are very pleased with the attacker and are  likely to keep Dauda on board at the end of his loan spell.

According to the Spanish La Verdad , Anderlecht is asking 500,000 euros for the attacker, who is only under contract until mid-2023. In addition, a resale percentage could also be included in the deal.

Cartagena is weighing up the possibilities of signingtthe young attacker with the amount of signing him being the only little problem.

Dauda was weighed and found wanting by the people of Brussels, who paid 200,000 euros for him in the past. Dauda has managed to score 3 times and provided 2 assists in 20 league games for Anderlecht since he joined in 2016.

The 23-year-old Ghanaian is being praised for his focus and speed, but he still needs to get a little more efficient as he’s yet to establish himself as a starter at FC Cartagena in Spain.

Dauda has three goals and two assists in the La Liga 2 this campaign.
