Tema Youth Football Club owner Wilfred Osei Palmer has said GHALCA chairman Cudjoe Fianoo’s quest for all members of the GFA Executive Council to resign is Imprudent.
The former Ashanti Gold SC CEO has called for the resignation of all members of the GFA top hierarchy after some members of the association were caught in an alleged bribery scandal.
But Osei Palmer who is part of the GFA Exco argues that Fianoo’s assertions is unwise as he absolutely has no basis in saying that.
“What has me, Kurt Okraku, George Afriyie and the other EXCO members done that we must resign, there is no sense and what Fianoo is saying lacks substance. He should come again,” Palmer stated on Happy FM
“The GHALCA administrative manager of GHALCA was caught in the video, has all the members of GHALCA resigned, Fianoo should come clear. People just want to use the current happenings in Ghana football to attain power”
He continued: “When Sepp Blatter was impLicated wasn’t the FIFA Executive Committee working? Fianooo should come and show me where the GFA or FIFA laws states that when some of the members of an FA are implicated the whole Exco must resign,”
The Attorney General of Ghana is taking steps to dissolve the FA after the Anas expose on corruption.
