German side HSC Hannover have confirmed the departure of German-born Ghanaian goalkeeper Kevin Ansu ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
The 20-year-old shot-stopper is set to leave the club after spending six years progressing through their academy system and youth ranks.
Ansu joined the Hannover youth setup in 2020 at the age of 15 and has since developed within the club’s structure, featuring in the German lower divisions during his rise.
Although his contract was due to expire on June 30, 2026, the club has opted for an early release as part of a broader squad overhaul ahead of the 2026/27 season.
According to reports from Kicker, Ansu is among six players leaving the club, alongside Luc Fender, Mico Schmidt, Colin Piepenbrink, Tayar Tasdelen, and Kai Bäte.
Despite his exit, the young goalkeeper is expected to attract interest from several clubs given his age, development background, and potential for further growth.
With his Ghanaian roots, Ansu could also become a future option for the Ghana national football team as he continues to build his career at senior level.
