Dutch-born Ghanaian forward, Myron Boadu, has described his first season with AS Monaco as a roller-coaster despite his side finishing third on the league log.
The 21-year-old joined Monaco last summer from Eredivise side, AZ Alkmaar, after a stellar last campaign in the Netherlands.
Joining the club as a 20-year-old, the forward was hoping for a blistering start to life in France but that did not go to plan despite a good run of games.
Boadu featured in 31 league games for Monaco but started just seven of those games with a chunk of them requiring he comes from the bench.
Following the end of the 2021/22 season, the player shared a post on his social media page as he bid farewell to his maiden campaign with Monaco.
“First season at Monaco ✔️ I had to get used to a new club, new teammates, new city. It went with ups and downs. Looking forward to next season when we will try to qualify for the 🆑,”
