Ghanaian footballer Joseph Paintsil produced a stellar performance by playing a crucial role in Genk’s win over KAS Eupen in the Belgium Pro League.

The Black Stars winger, starting and playing 81 minutes, contributed to his team’s 3-1 victory on Sunday.

Collins Sor, a Nigerian international, opened the scoring for Genk at Kehrwegstadion just before halftime, connecting with a pass from Bryan Heynen. With this advantage, Genk entered the break in control.

In the 56th minute of the second half, Joseph Paintsil added to the score, doubling Genk’s lead with an assist from Bilal El Khannous.

Despite a response from Eupen with a goal from Regan Charles-Cook in the 65th minute, Toluwalase Arokodare secured the win for Genk in stoppage time, connecting with a pass from Christopher Baah Bonsu.

Joseph Paintsil, having scored four goals and provided four assists in 17 games in the Belgium Pro League, was substituted in the match.

The Ghanaian youngster made a significant impact by assisting in the third goal, contributing to Genk’s overall success.
