In-form Ghanaian attacker Mohammed Dauda was on target for the second game running as FC Cartagena suffered defeat in a five-goal thriller against Real Valladolid on Friday night.
The 23-year-old striker struck twice but it was not enough as Cartagos loss 3-2 at the Cartagonova Stadium.
Dauda scored his first goals after three minutes on the clock to cancel Toni Villa’s first minute strike for the visitors.
Real Valladolid took the lead before half time through Shon Weissman but the ex-Asante Kotoko player restored parity with a 73rd minute strike.
Nonetheless, the home team were pegged back with nine minutes left after Anuar Mohamed Tuhami scored the winner for Valladolid.
Mohammed Dauda has now scored four goals and provided two assists in 23 matches for the Spanish second tier side.
The former Asante Kotoko striker is on loan from Belgium giants Anderlecht and will be hoping his performances impress manager Vincent Kompany before he returns to the Jupiler Pro League next season.
