Randers FC celebrated a crucial victory away from home against Hvidovre in the Danish Super Liga on Sunday, thanks in large part to the exceptional performance of Ghanaian winger Mohammed Fuseini.
At just 21 years old, Fuseini showcased his talent by both scoring and assisting as his team claimed a commanding 3-1 win over their opponents in the week 18 clash held at the Pro Ventilation Arena.
Despite falling behind early in the game, with Hvidovre taking the lead after 25 minutes through a penalty converted by Lirim Qamili, Randers FC showed resilience and determination.
Entering halftime trailing, the visitors emerged for the second half with renewed vigor, led by the Ivory Coast international, Lasso Coulibaly, who equalized for Randers just five minutes into the second half after being set up by the young Ghanaian.
With the momentum firmly on their side, Mohammed Fuseini wasted no time in turning the tide of the match, finding the back of the net in the 51st minute to give Randers FC the lead.
Not content with just one contribution, Fuseini continued to make an impact, setting up Simen Bolkan Nordli for Randers’ third goal in the 58th minute, securing the victory for his team.
A dynamic and speedy presence on the wing, Mohammed Fuseini is currently on loan from Austrian side Sturm Graz, eager to gain valuable playing time and showcase his abilities.
His arrival at Randers FC during the January transfer window has already proven to be a shrewd move, with his performances playing a pivotal role in the team’s success.
With the remainder of the 2023/24 season still ahead, Fuseini’s influence promises to be a key factor as Randers FC continues to pursue their objectives in both domestic and possibly European competitions.
