Abdul Aziz Yakubu, representing Ghana, delivered a remarkable performance by scoring a hat trick against Shenzhen FC in the Chinese Super League match held at the Shenzhen Bao’an Stadium on Monday afternoon.

Prior to the game, the head-to-head record between the two teams stood at zero wins for Shenzhen FC, two wins for Wuhan Three Towns, and no draws.

Abdul Aziz Yakubu commenced the game and played for 67 minutes before being substituted by Ademilson.

Wuhan Three Towns dominated possession throughout the 90 minutes of play.

Shenzhen took the lead in the 26th minute when Frank Acheampong headed the ball into the center of the goal from very close range.

However, Abdul Aziz Yakubu swiftly equalized for Wuhan Three Towns in the 36th minute with a left-footed shot from outside the box that found the bottom left corner of the net. Xie Pengfei provided the assist for Yakubu’s goal.

In the 61st minute, Yakubu struck again, scoring his second goal from close range. This time, the assist came from Yan Dinghao with a headed pass.

Yakubu completed his hat trick in the 63rd minute with a goal assisted by Nicolae Stanciu.

The former Estoril striker has been in exceptional form, scoring a total of five goals in his last three games.
